It doesn't hold humans, it holds something much worse.

The Den:

A large part of the Holding Block, it was the location where human experiments were displayed. Connected to the Experimental Ward via an elevator, successfully created monstrosities by the hands of human experiments, were transported. These resulting experiments, were displayed to investors and business men whom ran freak shows and circuses. Dozens of these experiments be shown at time, in a transparent tank. Sometimes, for brutal sport, the participants of the function would organize brauls. They would select two, undesired mutations. Individuals would wager on which tortured soul would win. Oftentimes, there would be a championship, regarding these fights. The afflicted individuals would battle. the winner is then versed by another, unwilling volunteer. This was done until one was remaining, the winner would be auctioned.

The Elevator

The Elevator, serving as a mediator between the Experimental Ward and Holding Block, was responsible for transporting the results of inhuman experiments. The afflicted individuals would be forced into the elevator, via the efforts of numerous personnel. A contraption built into the elevator, put in place aide in the restraint of the subject. From there, the horrid ride upwards began. The path to more dehumanization and suffering, approaching ever so slowly, feeling and hearing the rattling and buckling of the primative elevator. The true pain was not felt in the midst of the built-in contraption edging into one's skin, rather, the impending suffering and the notion of what's to come after.

The OUTBREAK

The outbreak, struck the those in the Holding Ward by arguably, the most surpise. As the freed patients made their ways through the Asylum, they wreakes extreme levels of havoc. Due to the fact that the function was loud, and the walls were thick, not much was heard. Some members did mention noises, however, this wasn't taken into account. Eventually, the Ward was breached, dozens of animalistic patients entered the room. They proceeded the free the mutated subjects, adding them to the onslaught. The investers and business men were all murdered, ripped to ribbens. Reduced to piles of flesh and guts, Leonardo and other personnel escaped the Holding Ward
