THE
OPERATING ROOM

Operations.

Operations. A main theme of the Asylum. Created with sadistic intents, the main purpose was to inflict the most pain and suffering possible. These operations, consisting of pseudo scientific backings, were centered around pain and inflicting death upon these whom were subject to them. These experiments, devised by an individual whom was ahead of his time, were intentionally rooted in this pseudo science. The aspect of inflicting pain and suffering on innocient people far out weighed the prospect of helping others. With that in mind, enjoy the operating room.

Painful Specifics

Often times, the treatments, were very obscure and ritualistic. Usually employing an extremely damaging and pseudo scientific methodology, the treatments would cause extreme pain and suffering. Made with sadism in mind, doctors relished the idea and prospect of employing the treatments. Usually done on pregnant women, doctors would place large sandbags upon the womb. The said women, being subject to this, would be restrained as the weight of the sandbags resulted in miscarage and internal trauma. Another notable method would be torture. This torture was very primative and involved machinary, dating back 1000s of years. Patients would be connected to these machines, usually they would suffer impalement or decapitation. A particular type of machine was the common choice, it was known as the neck breaker. It utilized a head brace, containing spikes that punctured the patient's face. A pully system was annexed to this brace. The spikes would dig so deep, that they would provide leverage for the pully. This would result in the patient's head being severed, slowly and gruesomely. The most notable would be human experimentation. This experimentation involved exposing human to dangerous conditions and stresses. This resulted in the creation of monsters, forged by insanity and suffering. As seen with the gas and other afflicted. Often, hair loss occurs, and extreme disfugurement. Sometimes bone and cancerious growths will be apparent. More often than not, the skin and flesh of the patients may decay and fall from their bodies. They may even rip and tear their own organs from their bodies. These are some of many attrocities, that have yet to be covered.
