The Horde, as the name implies, is a large group of patients that terrorized the Asylum. In the beginning, these patients were separate and had different histories. These patients were not united when they were committed, either. It all began when a patient evaded guards and escaped their cell. He proceeded to sneak his way into a laboratory. From there, he accessed a confidental file, and managed to bring back to his cell. He discovered that a confidental project was underway. It was called: Project Grave Robber. "Peculiar," he thought. After reading further, he found that the Grave Robber was an unknown being, that was created by the an illegal research project in the Asylum. It had the ability to assimilate corpses and conduct its movement in a way that seemingly violated reality. After hearing of this, the patient was struck by this creature! He wanted it to be on his side, so it could help him escape. A religion was formed from this notion, the group grew larger. The hord came togther fully when the Asylum was comprimized and all patients escaped.

Although, like the majority of the patience, the horde consisted of weak and malnorished individuals. However, the number of patients in the group more than compensates for these concerns. Much like the other patients, this group is also cannibalistic. As a result, they act in a manner similar to ants; swarming their victims and ripping limbs of. Overall, a one on one fight with a horde member. However, when daced with many, your only options are to run, hide, or die a painful death.

Typically, there is no escaping this group. They move at an extremely rapid pace. Often times, they attempt to utilize windows and gaps within walls and ceilings. Often times, they perfer to flank their victims via this procedure. Usually, running is not the best option, its better to hide in a secure location.
