The Therapy Ward, akin to the rest of the Asylum, was a place of suffering and brutality. However, this portion was used differently. It was designed to hold patients who worshipped the Grave Robber. If you can remember, the Grave Robber was a result of experimentation. Those patients, whom worshipped it, were relocated here. After the relocation, Leonardo Rudolf had an idea. He decided to make a deal with the Germans. He would purchase their most power and lethal weaponry and evaluate the effectiveness of said equipment. The lethality of flamethrowers, gasses, tanks, artillery, and bullets would be tested on the withered patients. This Asylum was located in an extremely romote location, the nearest neighbor being an abandoned gas station, around 5 miles away. This violent testing went on for years to come. In addition to this, interrogation techniques were also being tried, along with secretive weaponry. Interrogation techniques like sleep deprivation and pure violence against the subject were tested. However, particular effects were seen with a strange substance, that the Germans exported. It was called Super Stoff (super substance) The Germans claimed it vastly increased endurance, strength, reaction time, and regenerative properties. The latter would translate to wounds healing faster and a smaller dependence on sleep.

This experiment, despite the name, had nothing to do with therapy. It consisted of placing the unfortunate patients in a secured room, with a one way mirror. They deployed the special gas and viewed the effects. The effects were despicable, the first few days, the patients hadn't sleep and business was normal. It seemed as if the patients were relaxed due to the lack of torture and a change of scenery. However, as time durated, the patients lost touch with reality to a greater and greater extent. Eventually, patients started violently shaking and screaming. Soon enough, their vocal cords ruptured, they even began pulling their tongues out. They began speaking in different languages. A couples days after that, the patients began vomitting and excreting a strange substance, it began to generate a thick fog. This fog would putrid, it began to cultivate a strange mold. This mold grew along the walls of the one way mirror and slightly abstructed the view. The patients began ripping their guts out, cracking through their own ribs, using their acquired strength they broke bones and ripped out organs. From here, the patients began to become severely disfigured, teeth fell from their mouths as sharper and oddly shaped ones replaced them. They're bones began to crack and shape, heads began to lengthen stretch. Nails and hair fell from the patients' bodies as jagged nail replaced them. The doctors decided enough was done and the experiment was to be terminated. However, seconds after that was said, the patients began to speak. "We are coming for you!" "You did this to us, you thought we lost all of our humanity through our stay at the Asylum, let along here!" "We are still intelligent, and we've out smarted you!" "Good luck and good bye!" The glass was broken, the afflicated patients escaped, ripping the experienters in half with ease. They began to make there way throughout the Asylum. From here all variants of patients, experimented on or not, were running rampent. Soon after this point, the Grave Robber would rise to prevalence. However, we still have to get through all other areas of the Asylum!
